SIP Cards
A Sip card gives you the same access to healthcare as Spanish Nationals:
The following groups who are legally resident in Spain qualify for a SIP card:
Pensioners from any European country receiving the basic state pension;
Anyone working in Spain with a contract;
Anyone working in Spain as an autonomo person (self employed) and is paying into the state system;
Anyone under the age of 26 who is the dependant of a parent who has a Sip card;
The spouse of someone who has a SIP card;
Those individuals who do not fall into any of the above categories who have been resident in Spain for a minimum of 12 months who are under the age of 65 paying a fee of 60€ a month or who are over the age of 65 and are paying a monthly fee of 157€
